We, the committee, will have input in selecting the locations. I not an expert in this area. But on one thing I am quite sure. We need to pick the locations that will receive the most emissions and which will therefore show if the air modelling is wrong. That is what it will take to get filtration installed.
My understanding is that elevated positions are most exposed. Do you have more insights to share? Please contact me. I have heard of people suffering from poor air quality near the Turella smokestack and I would be interested in talking to affected people in the hope of gaining insights that will assist me in pushing for the best locations for the New M5 monitoring stations.
A big part of picking the locations is gaining acceptance from people who would be adversely affected by the space that the monitoring stations will take up and by their visual impact.
