My book is available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback format. It is available in all markets. Here are quick links to my book for three of them: amazon.com, amazon.com.au and amazon.de.
Do not go on a diet. Diets are the number one weight loss mistake. And don't focus too much on weight loss while neglecting your general health and fitness. That's the other big mistake. Instead, make sustainable lifestyle changes. Look after your general health and fitness and then long-term weight loss will be a lot easier.
That's the premise of my book. And it has worked for me. I am a 55 year old computer programmer. I was overweight in my thirties and got into shape in my forties. In my fifties, I discovered the joy of competitive exercise and I am now in the best shape since my twenties.
You can't get into shape entirely without discipline. But you can make the journey a lot easier if you go about it the right way. In my book, I explain what you need to do and why. And I give a lot of practical tips. I avoid being overly prescriptive. There are a lot of options. I don't expect you to conform to my food and exercise preferences. Instead, my book will equip you with the knowledge to make good food and exercise choices.
There is no extreme advice in my book. I don't do low-carb or low-fat. I don't take any supplements. The key is a holistic approach to food and exercise. I give advice on how to put together nutritious, satisfying meals that are relatively bulky for the calories they contain and don't take long to prepare. If you get all the nutrients you need, then you will feel sated with fewer calories, and you will feel energetic. An energetic person will naturally do more exercise and generally move more, burning more calories. My book contains a lot of tips on making exercise fun.
If you have the patience for steady but sustained improvements, then I urge you to read my book and try my approach.
